Michael Barber, M.D.

Dr. Barber is a family physician who has over 25 years of experience as a C-suite executive leader and consultant. He has experience in growing companies, creating startups and leading companies through times of change. He has been the CEO of a large multi-specialty group practice, CEO of a physician/hospital syndication, CEO of a population health management company, Chief Medical Officer of a physician owned not for profit health plan and most recently the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Consultant of National Church Residences, a national not for profit provider of affordable HUD housing for the elderly where he designed and implemented many care systems. His consulting practice is focused on engaging hospitals, physicians, post-acute care providers and housing providers in new ways to create person centered care systems for frail elderly and vulnerable individuals. He also has assisted companies in developing products including medical groups, hospitals, senior care organizations, disease management companies and universities.

Marnie Renda - OTD, M.Ed. OTR/L, CAPS, ECHM
Founder and President, Rebuild Independence

Marnie is the founder of Rebuild Independence LLC, which provides OT Home Assessments, product and home modifications for elders and persons with disabilities living at home. She is the Chairperson of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Home and Community Health Special Interest Section (HCHSIS), a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and has earned an Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from University of Southern California. Marnie is a nationally recognized educator and speaker on the topics of Home Modifications, Aging in Place, Universal Design and Community Resources. In 2015, she co-authored the AOTA official document entitled "The Role of Occupational Therapy in Complex Home Modifications" which defines the role of occupational therapy to internal and external stakeholders. Marnie graduated from Lafayette College and Springfield College with a B.A. in Psychobiology and a Master’s Degree in occupational therapy. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, mental health, and the community.

Ronda Christopher, DHSc, M.ED., OT

Ronda is a skilled healthcare executive with 14+ years of experience leading health systems, including large academic institutions, inpatient, outpatient and ancillary service designs, regulatory and reimbursement demands, joint venture relationships and multi-system organizations. She has designed curriculum and strategies to implement innovative uses for technology, expand competencies in population health management and execute on the triple aim for all levels of healthcare delivery including: acute, post-acute, primary and specialty care, clinically integrated networks and shared savings models. She also has utilized improvement methodologies and organizational theory to meet state and federal deliverables within contracted timeframes and exceeding set goals. Sustained quality metrics using a blend of adult learning theory, change management and proven improvement programs for nationally recognized integrated systems and non-affiliated collaboratives.

Erika Feinberg

For more than 20 years, Erika Feinberg had been assisting some of the top brand software, media companies and venture capitalists plan and launch businesses, resulting in market domination. She was appointed the CEO of ActiveForever.com an e-commerce company providing Medical Equipment, Safety Supplies and Healing Product Innovations in August of 2003 which has since grown at a rate close to 10,000 percent. Erika has earned national recognition for her numerous achievements throughout the years, including helping ActiveForever.com become one of the highest ranked websites in its niche. She has also assisted some of the top technology brands such as Oracle Corporation and Turner/Time Warner, and venture capital organizations in the country in researching market opportunities and helping launch new business units for them. Erika is an expert in helping to shift market strategies and helping her clients achieve market domination. During her work as a CEO of her own company, she funded and co-founded eMarketing Inc. (1990), and helped the company position itself strategically to turn a profit within 3 months and completed a successful sale of the company to the largest privately held promotions company in the country. Erika has since shifted her focus to Consumer driven Healthcare with aims to help solve physical goals such as productivity, pain relief, physical rehabilitation and safety. She has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Mass Communications from Boston University, as well as Advanced Studies in Business from Boston University.

Brian Tilow
SVP, Behavioral and Geriatric Services, Cleveland Clinic

Brian began his career as a PM&R Manager for Drake Hospital (long term care hospital) for 3 years dealing with patients and families with MS/TBI/Dementia. He then moved to The Jewish Hospital where he served as the Administrative Director of the Semmon Center on Aging (the Jewish community’s umbrella division on older adult services). He developed the first ACE unit concept in the county with a geriatric psychiatrist and developed the first outpatient older adult IOP for alcoholism in the country. Brian then developed geriatric services for the Christ Hospital. He was then recruited to TriHealth Hospital system (Bethesda and Good Samaritan Hospitals) to become the Business Development Director of Senior Health. During that 8 year period he developed a physician organization to service 55 nursing homes, Operated a “fully capitated/at risk product for seniors which became the fastest growing product in the country along with receiving the national award of highest quality of service. He also developed a LLC company to provide start up and management services to hospital systems who were interested in entering the psychiatric inpatient care business. Currently he is a Senior VP at The Cleveland Clinic focusing on the psychiatric continuum of care. He received his undergraduate degree at Hillsdale College in Michigan attended graduate school at the University of Cincinnati.

Wally Hankwitz, MBA, FACHE, CMPE

Wally Hankwitz is President of Highlands Health Management, a management consultancy. Wally is an accomplished healthcare executive with four decades of experience in healthcare management, operations, and development. For the last two decades, he has focused on the development, implementation, and operation of IPA’s, PHO’s and clinically integrated networks focusing most recently on CMS MSSP ACO’s. Wally served as lead on 4 successful ACO applications. From June 2009 through 2010, he served as Executive Director of Lutheran Health Partners, the venue created by Exempla Healthcare in Denver to support virtual clinical integration between Exempla Lutheran Medical Center and its community based and employed physicians to advance more cost effective, higher quality, and safer care across the continuum of health care. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and certified by the Board of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE), Wally received his MBA in Health Care Administration from The George Washington University, Washington D.C. He served as adjunct professor at the University of Southern California's Graduate School of Public Health
